Fine Grinding
NCP FINE GRINDING: NCP MIGMILL
Experts in vertical stirred mill technologies.
NCP have added advanced ultra fine grinding technology to our comminution equipment portfolio, which carries
advanced features, ease of maintenance and operation design.
FINE GRINDING
Advanced Ultra Fine Grinding Technology
- High efficiency ultra fine grinding in open circuit thus simple and economical.
- Migmill is supplied complete as a plug and play package for ease of installation and commissioning.
- Easy to operate and maintain with limited stoppage time.
- Proven technology.
- Adjustable to varying feed conditions (throughput, material competency, density & feed size).
- Optimized internal design for improved wear rates.
- Improved feed system, which eliminates blockage, startup problems, time delays, and operational difficulties.
- Media filling and media removal have been carefully redesigned – eliminating spillage and loss of expensive media. Continuous measuring of media filling is also included.
- Accepts feeds up to F80 of 250µm and grinds down to P80 of 4µm.
Operating Principal
- Separation of fine and coarse/heavy particles by centrifugal forces (shaft rotation).
- Multiple grinding chambers, arranged in sequence, on top of each other.
- Separation between fine and coarse/heavy particles after every grinding chamber resulting in a steep product PSD curve.
- Fine / light particles remain in the centre of the grinding chamber and rise in the mill towards the discharge on the mill top without further grinding.
- Coarse / heavy particles are pushed to the outside of the grinding chamber to grinding zone.
