Metorex - Ruashi mine Complete Comminution Circuit NCP were awarded the contract to design and supply the complete communition circuit to the Ruashi plant in the DRC. The front end with feed the new EW plant at Ruashi. The design of the plant enables constant feed to the existing 20ft diameter SAG mill at 200tph and 100tph feed to the new 1500kW ball mill supplied by NCP. The contract includes supply and installation of a primary crushing station including a 42x48in STRB Jaw Crusher. The crushed material is deposited onto a 450tph stockpile, which feeds material th4rough two Armco tunnels at controlled rated to the two mills.

The contract includes all civil layouts, structural design, design and supply of all mechanical equipment, design and supply of all electrical and instrumentation. NCP will partner with G5Projects for the installation portion of the contract. The switchgear portion of the contract includes 15kV MV switchgear design and supply, a new 5MVa transformer, 2200V switchgear and all MCCs. NCP will issue control narratives to TMP for the plant SCADA design. NCP have also been awarded the spares contract for the complete ROM feed prep area.
